Good Home House & Land Auction Build On Track

Work on the The Advertiser Foundation Good Home project is up and running with the slab poured in September and framing for the Good Home now starting to take shape.

The Good Home project is the initiative of The Advertiser Foundation, Weeks Homes and Villawood Properties. The three bedroom Terrace House is located at Oakden Rise Estate and will be auctioned next year with funds raised going towards Adelaide-based youth and children’s charities.

“We are in the process of completing the upper wall frames on the home. Next week we will install partition wall between the two terraces,” said Weeks construction manager Sam Mason.
“We expect the frame to be complete mid-November. So far, the build is on track with minimal disruptions, so we expect the home to complete in Q1 2025,” said Mr Mason. 

Head of The Advertiser Foundation Dan Demaria said he was thrilled to see the progress. “To the successful bidder we say ‘a home for you is hope for others’ and this is why we’re calling
this project ‘Good Home’,” Mr Demaria said.
