Good Home Cheques for children's charities - thanks to the Kids Appeal, Villawood Properties, Weeks Homes and their suppliers.

When the hammer falls at the Good Home auction on November 1, the buyer will not only walk away with a fully furnished Japandi style 3-bedroom home at 24 Bluegum Way in the stunning new community at Oakden Rise - they'll also be walking away with the great feeling you get when you are doing something for others. Weeks Homes, Villawood Properties and their suppliers are donating 100% of the proceeds to the Kids' Appeal supporting the Childhood Cancer Association, Kickstart for Kids, the Women's and Children's Hospital Foundation, Backpacks4SAKids, Sammy D Foundation and the Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation's Aboriginal literacy project with Raising Literacy Australia. Open for inspection from 13 September.

Former White Ribbon breakfast group, Wake Up to Change, is jumping in to help Catherine House in responding to the growing number of women experiencing homelessness - often when escaping domestic violence. Gillian Lewis, Cintra Amos and Grant Pearson from Wake Up to Change proudly handed over a cheque for $5k to Catherine House's Jaylee Cooper.
